Director, Balaji K. Kumar
Born and raised in India, Balaji worked as an assistant creative director for Chandrodaya Art Films.

Before enrolling at UCLA to study advanced cinematography, Kumar attended an engineering college, affiliated to the International University of Missouri. There he learned drafting techniques and architectural rendering/model making.

Combining his skills as an artist, photographer and draftsman, Kumar began to work as a storyboard consultant for advertising firms including, Ogilvy Benson and Mather, J Walter Thompson, and Saatchi and Saatchi.

In 2003, Balaji directed a 35mm trailer that won the Golden Trailer Award as "Best Trailer No Movie" for Twelve Twisted Tricks.

9 Lives of Mara
is his first feature film.

Screenwriter, Eric Massey
Eric collaborated with Balaji on the story and wrote the script. In addition to working with other directors, Eric has over 10 years of combined experience in marketing and film.

Producer, Jina Panebianco
Jina began her producing career 8 years ago, following a 10-year successful career producing high profile events on-time and under budget for companies like News Corp, New Limited Australia, TV Guide, FOX, and Viacom.

In addition to her completion of 9 LIVES OF MARA, she produced the award winning trailer, TWELVE TWISTED TRICKS, as well as the Bollywood film, JAI CHIRANJIVAA.

Jina is currently in pre-production for her next feature, PARMIGIANO, which shoots in Italy in October 2007.

Producer, Efren Muro
Efren began in distribution, working with some of the
largest companies in Los Angeles. In 2005, he decided to cross over into producing features and documentaries.
